Understanding My ADHD and Autism: Empowerment Course for Children and Young Teens

​

A transformative 6-week group course designed to empower children and young teens with ADHD, Autism, or both.

 

Through interactive sessions, participants will explore what their diagnosis means to them, identify strategies to support their well-being, articulate their needs, and celebrate their uniqueness.

​

Where: 

Online Sessions and Face-to-Face

Duration: 6 weeks

Ages 7-11 & 11-13

 

Requirements:

  • Formal diagnosis of ADHD, Autism, or both

  • Herts Resident

  • Age 7-13

Hertfordshire Bee You – Understanding Autism and ADHD

10 weekly sessions for young people on different topics relating to Autism and ADHD.

Sessions can be booked individually based on interest in specific topics.

​

These sessions intend to provide young people with a fun and safe space to learn about themselves and develop the tools and strategies to see them through school and beyond.

​

Autism and Me: 6 Week Creative Program for Autistic Children and Young People 

​

A group programme for autistic young people to help you cope with some of the challenges living with Autism can present.

 

The group aims to inspire you on how to recognise your unique talents and celebrate being autistic. 

 

Where:

In person - Watford 

 

Requirements: 

  • Formal Autism diagnosis (or a dual diagnosis of Autism and ADHD)

  • Sessions are after school hours and a day time group for those not in full time education, or who can attend as part of their school day

  • Age 7-16

COGS Neurodiversity App

‘My World & Me’ ™ is a 12-week group programme for children and young people.

 

This group aims to support your child to have an opportunity to meet other young people of similar age and experiences. 

 

Focusing on celebrating your child’s strengths, this group aims to be fun whilst supporting confidence, independence and resilience.

Understanding My Autism and ADHD

​

A comprehensive 6-week programme designed specifically for young people who have a diagnosis of autism, ADHD, or both.

 

The Programme is tailored to help young people learn more about neurodiversity and their own experiences. Through interactive sessions, the young people can discuss their strengths, challenges, and strategies for navigating daily life.

 

By the end of the 6-week programme, young people will leave with a stronger sense of empowerment in embracing their neurodiversity.

  • Diagnosis of autism, ADHD, or both

  • school years 3 to 11
